Jawline FIller

Jawline fillers in Leeds: Say hello to your new rejuvenated jawline at the Kirei Clinic.

At the Kirei Clinic in Leeds we are specialists in treating the jawline with dermal fillers.

Jawline fillers, also known as dermal fillers for the jawline, are non-surgical cosmetic treatments that involve the strategic injection of filler substances to sculpt and define the contours of the jawline area. This procedure is requested by individuals looking to achieve a more defined and balanced facial appearance. This treatment can also be used to rejuvenate a jawline for those with signs of ageing.

Why do some people have a weak jawline?

A weak or undefined jawline can result from a combination of genetic factors, ageing, and lifestyle choices. Here are some common causes of a weak jawline:

Genetics: The shape and structure of your jawline are largely determined by your genetics. If you have a family history of a less prominent jawline, you may be genetically predisposed to this characteristic.

Ageing: As you age, the skin loses collagen and elastin, leading to a loss of skin elasticity and firmness. This can result in sagging skin along the jawline and neck, which can make the jawline appear less defined.

Weight Changes: Significant weight loss can lead to sagging skin, including around the jawline, as the skin may not contract as quickly as the fat is lost.

Bone Structure: The underlying bone structure of the face can also influence the appearance of the jawline. Some individuals naturally have a less prominent jawbone.

Sun Damage:  Exposure to ultraviolet (UV) radiation from the sun can accelerate skin ageing and contribute to a loss of skin elasticity, potentially affecting the jawline.

Smoking and Poor Lifestyle Habits: Smoking and other unhealthy lifestyle habits can accelerate the ageing process, leading to premature sagging of the skin.

The Kirei Jawline Treatment

At the Kirei Clinic we have developed a protocol for the ultimate jawline treatment.  This is a procedure that firstly uses our medical grade HIFU treatment  to tighten the jawline and reduce excess fat under the chin, then using dermal fillers we are able to sculpt and define the jawline.  For our older patients, who want a rejuvenated jawline, we would advise a course of radio frequency microneedling  prior to HIFU (as HIFU works best when collagen levels are high) and dermal fillers.  For a more feminine look we would first shrink larger jaw muscles (masseter muscles)  before defining the jawline, as not to add extra weight with dermal fillers, making the jawline more masculine.

Benefits of Jawline Fillers

Jawline fillers offer a range of benefits, including:

Enhanced Definition: Jawline fillers can provide a sharper and more defined jawline, resulting in a more sculpted and youthful appearance.

Improved Contours: Fillers can help address issues like jowls and sagging skin, restoring a smoother and more lifted contour to the lower face.

Facial Symmetry: Achieving balance in your facial features is easier with jawline fillers, as they can harmonise the proportions of your face.  They can also  broaden narrow features, and elongate shorter profiles

Non-Surgical Solution: Unlike surgical procedures, jawline fillers offer a non-invasive option with minimal downtime.

Our medical team in Leeds assesses the jawline as part of our full facial assessment, and we often treat this as part of our full face rejuvenation as it helps address the jowls and sagging skin.
